Our Lab

The Tajiri Laboratory is an experimental laboratory.

Our research covers a wide range from basic research to applications in the fields of developing materials that have not yet been applied, energy conversion devices, ultra high-speed switching devices, and so on. Currently, our research is focused on semiconductor materials and related process technologies.

The laboratory offers many opportunities to work with a wide variety of equipment. At the beginning of your graduation research, your seniors will teach you how to use the equipment as you proceed with your experiments. It will be hard work until you get used to it. Most experiments do not have immediate or obvious answers. You must have perseverance to make and carry out arrangements to reach your goal. Enjoy compiling the data you have accumulated and actively disseminate information.
